YCC is happy to announce that we will do an informal, outdoor concert on Thursday, September 16 (rain date: September 23), at 7 pm on the grounds of Emmanuel Lutheran Church (201 North River, Ypsilanti). We’re excited to be singing together again and sharing our music with our community!

We invite you and your friends to join us for this welcome-back-to-normal (sort of) concert. Please bring a chair or blanket to sit on and – especially if it’s a warm night – water to stay hydrated. We will be following any covid protocols that are in place at that time.

We are optimistic that we’ll be able to do our traditional Christmas concert this year and have scheduled it  for Thursday, December 9, at 7 pm at First Presbyterian Church of Ypsilanti (300 North Washington). [NOTE: This is a change in venue from our usual performances in Towsley Auditorium.] Again, we’ll be following any protocols in place at the time. We hope that this will mark the beginning of a return to our regular concert schedule of two main, formal concerts each year in December and May.

We often do additional, informal performances at the request of community members. For instance, you’ll probably see us at:

YCC also occasionally performs in private settings – for the Ladies’ Literary Club of Ypsilanti and the Sanctuary at St. Joseph’s Village, for instance. We have also been invited to sing the National Anthem at Eastern Michigan University basketball games.
All concerts begin at 7:30 pm.
Admission is free.
